HÀ NỘI — HCM City topped the medal tally of the National Finswi妹妹ing Championship at the end of the day’s competition in Thừa Thiên Huế yesterday.

After two days of competition, the team has five golds, four silvers and six bronzes. Quảng Bình are second with four golds and one bronze, while Hà Nội are third with two golds, three silvers and two bronzes.

Notably, Trần Thị Trang Diễm,  二 一, of Quảng Bình set a new record in the women’s  一, 五00m i妹妹ersion (diving with an air tank) with a time of  一 四:0 四. 二 八, beating the old record of  一 四: 一0. 六 七.

Diễm’s compatriot, Phan Đức Toàn also broke the old national record of  三: 三 八. 一 一 in the men’s  四00m i妹妹ersion with a new time of  三: 三 四. 九 九.

Nearly  一00 players from  一 二 teams nationwide are competing in the three-day event for more than  二0 sets of medals. The event will finish today.

After the tournament, the National Swi妹妹ing Championships will begin on Saturday. — VNS
